My new processor E8600?

i just bought a E8600 3.33ghz core 2 duo i downloaded cpu-z to see the speeds of it and noticed core speed is 1999.9mhz-2000.0mhz bus speed 333.3mhz rated fsb 1333.3 is this going at the maximum speed it suppose to or is there something is bios to activate it to its full potential
