Ideas for a field trip?

my school only allows one field trip a year..... i knnow suks huh? and i want a rlly good fields. the school is in oakland ,california. i am in the 7th grade. my school doesn't allow theme parks and all that stuff so keep it fun and educational and plz no overnight and expensive trips... thanks!
