Taking care of Nose Piercing?

ok so I got my nose piercing a few days ago and it's doing really well.They gave me some stuff to clean it with and it smells awful and it's so strong I can taste it. Yuck!! SO my question is what else do I use, Ive already heard to soak it in sea salt and I think distilled water and am using antibacterial soap twice a day to clean it. Is there anything else I should be doing for it now?? Oh and how long before I can take this thing out to change it, it itches so bad every now and then
